The rules of using Humanizer. Direct, short, and the same for everyone.
Acceptance
By installing or using the Humanizer apps for Mac or iPhone, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the apps.
Your account
You're responsible for what's done on your account. Sign-in is via Apple ID — keep your Apple credentials secure.
Acceptable use
You're accountable for how you use Humanizer's output. We don't decide whether your school, employer, or client allows AI-assisted writing — you do. Don't use the app to:
- Generate text intended to defraud, defame, or harass
- Process content that violates someone else's intellectual property
- Bypass security or attempt to reverse-engineer the service
Subscription
Humanizer offers a free tier (3 free humanizations at full quality, 500 characters per request) and three paid Pro tiers — Weekly ($5.99), Monthly ($12.99), and Annual ($109.99, 3-day free trial) — sold via Apple In-App Purchase on Mac and iPhone. Pricing, trial, and renewal terms are shown at purchase. Trials convert to paid unless cancelled at least 24 hours before they end (Apple's standard rule). Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; you keep access through the end of the billing period. We do not sell or process payments outside of Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't dispute legitimate refund requests.
Intellectual property
You keep the rights to your input and the output. We get a limited licence to process your text so we can return a rewrite — nothing beyond that. Humanizer's brand, code, and design belong to us.
No warranty
Humanizer is provided "as is." We can't guarantee any specific AI detector will or won't flag any specific output — detection is an arms race we don't control. We do our best; we don't promise miracles.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for academic, professional, or business consequences of using a humanizer in a context where it wasn't allowed.
Changes to these terms
We post material changes here and email active subscribers. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
