What does the humanizer actually do?
It takes AI-generated text and rewrites it to sound more natural and human. It preserves your meaning while changing the rhythm, word choice, and sentence structure that AI detection tools key on.
Will it pass Turnitin, GPTZero, or Originality.ai?
We don't promise that — detection is an arms race that changes weekly. What we do: rewrite using state-of-the-art language modeling that consistently scores lower on major detectors. Every rewrite shows you the AI Detector Score, so you can see for yourself.
What languages does it support?
English only at launch. The rewrite quality bar for other languages isn't there yet — we'd rather ship one language well than four half-baked. More on the roadmap.
Can I make it sound like me?
Yes. Save 1 to 5 samples of your own writing under "Sound like me." Humanizer injects them as few-shot context — the rewrite picks up your rhythm, vocabulary, and habits. Each rewrite also gets a voice-match score, so you can see how closely it landed.
Does it work inside other apps?
On iOS 26: the share sheet from any app, plus App Shortcuts surfacing Humanize in Spotlight and Siri. On macOS 26: the Services menu (right-click → Humanize with Humanizer) plus Spotlight via App Shortcuts. Select text, trigger Humanizer, the rewrite opens in the app for a quick paste back.
Is my text private?
Yes. Inputs are processed by Anthropic's Claude under their API terms and are never used to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's. We don't sell data. Delete your account and we erase everything within 30 days.
Why both Mac and iPhone?
Because writing happens everywhere. Draft on your Mac at the desk, finalize on your iPhone between meetings, or vice versa. One Apple ID, same history, same plan.
What if the rewrite isn't great?
Tap "Try again" for another attempt at no extra cost (Pro), or switch modes. Different modes produce notably different rhythms — Casual and Academic in particular are very different shapes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the billing period.
Is using a humanizer cheating?
Context matters. If your school or employer prohibits AI entirely, using AI then humanizing it likely violates those rules — that's on you. If you're ESL and worried about false positives, or polishing your own draft that started with AI for ideation, you're well within most policies. You're accountable for how the tool gets used.
