tl;dr

We use Anthropic's Claude API to rewrite your text. Anthropic's API terms forbid training on customer input — we honour that. We store your account email, your Apple user ID, your purchase history, and the text you humanize (so you can find it again). We don't track you, don't sell data, and you can delete everything from inside the app.

What we collect

Per Apple's privacy nutrition labels, Humanizer collects the following data types — all linked to your account, all used only to make the app function, none used for tracking:

• Email Address — from Sign in with Apple (or the relay address if you choose to hide it). Used to identify your account and send transactional email.
• User ID — your Apple-provided user identifier. Used to keep your humanization history and personas attached to you across Mac and iPhone.
• Purchase History — your active subscription entitlement, returned by Apple. Used to unlock Pro features. We never see your payment card.
• Other User Content — the text you choose to humanize, and the output we return. Used to show you your history. Never used to train any model.

No tracking. No advertising identifiers. No third-party analytics SDKs in the app.

Third parties

• Anthropic (Claude) — runs the humanization. Bound by API terms not to train on customer data.
• Sapling AI — runs the detector score on every rewrite. Same constraint.
• Apple In-App Purchase + RevenueCat — manages your subscription entitlement. We see status, never card details.
• Resend — sends transactional emails (purchase receipts, account deletion confirmations).

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. We erase everything within 30 days. We can also do it manually if you email hello@alicanbasak.com.

Your rights (GDPR, KVKK, CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data. Reach out at hello@alicanbasak.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We post material changes here and email subscribers. The effective date at the top moves; the substance always matches.
